occidental costa cancún all inclusive3.5 out of 5 zona hotelera price was $1,796, price is now $823 per person $823 per person mar 22 - mar 26 found 1 day ago roundtrip flight included atlanta (atl) to cancun (cun) stay at this 3.5-star beach property in cancun. enjoy free breakfast, free wifi, and free parking. our guests praise the pool and the helpful staff in our reviews. popular attractions la isla shopping mall and iberostar cancun golf course are located nearby. just returned from four day stay and i’ll give you my honest pros/cons list. pros: resort was clean, staff was amazing, beds are comfortable, breakfast was good, drinks were typical all inclusive type, they stock your fridge daily with beer, soda and water. you can walk to the ferry which is literally next to the resort if you want to go to isla mujeres (which we did twice for the beaches). there is nightly entertainment and daily activities. cons: beach is small, very small. not what is pictured on the website, so that was a little disappointing. there is only one pool and i wouldn’t call it “large” but there was plenty of seating. we were told the only reservation for the restaurants was at 10pm, even though they never looked full. they have three restaurants (seafood, italian and mexican) but i couldn’t tell you how the food was because we never ate at one. lunch and dinner buffet food was always the same. all in all, if you’re looking for a small resort, this will serve its purpose if you don’t care about the beach area. we ended up going out for dinner nightly off site. it was easy to take ubers, the taxis were much more expensive. i’d stay somewhere else next time, further up the beach. reviewed on mar 15, 2025
